Related Content High Risk Of Avalanches In Central North Utah By KPCW • Feb 17, 2014 SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Forecasters are warning holiday skiers and others that there's considerable to high risk of avalanches in the mountains of central and northern Utah. The Utah Avalanche Center warn that dangerous conditions exist on many elevations and slopes that could lead to natural and human triggered slides. Officials warn anyone in the backcountry areas should avoid slopes steeper than 30 degrees. There's a considerable or high risk in the Uintah Mountains and ranges near Logan, Ogden, Provo, Moab, and the Salt Lake and Skyline areas.
