Man Hits Tree, Dies at Park City Mountain Resort

The man who died at Park City Mountain Resort Saturday has been identified as 48-year-old Hansi Brenninger.   The Aspen Times says Brenninger was a full-time ski instructor at Aspen Mountain.  According to a news release from Park City police, he was on an advanced slope skiing with family when he hit a tree shortly before ten in the morning.   He passed away from his injuries before he was taken to the hospital.  Brenninger is also listed as a real estate agent for Joshua & Co. in Aspen.  According to his biography on the company website, he was born and educated in Australia and taught skiing around the world before settling in Aspen.  According to the Aspen Times, Brenninger is survived by his wife, daughter and son.
