Kimball Art Center Announces Move

The Kimball Art Center has announced its new temporary home where it will relocate in September when it moves out of Old Town and the Historic Kimball Garage

The new temporary home of the Kimball Art Center will be at 1401 Kearns Blvd, the current home of The Branch Vineyard Community, in the Bonanza Park Area near Silver King Coffee.  The Kimball Art Center announced its upcoming move in a press release on Monday, saying it would move to the new location in September of this year, and will stay in place for approximately three years while a new permanent home is designed and built.

As the press release states, the Kimball Art Center decided to move to be able to “better serve a continuously increasing demand from the community for the Kimball Art Center’s programs.”  The Kimball decided to sell the Old Town building and that sale closed earlier this month.  The sale and the temporary move, according to the press release will “allow the Kimball Art Center to transition into its new space with increased square footage and improved parking and accessibility.

The 46th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival will continue as planned, kicking off on July 31st.
