Next year the Utah Department of Transportation will install an additional climbing lane on I-80 next to the Jeremy Ranch neighborhood. Their policy requires they address noise issues related to the additional lane. A battle continues between UDOT and a group of basin residents who are opposed to the construction of the barrier.
