This Green Earth - October 27, 2015

This Green Earth's first guest is Adam Briggle who is a philosophy professor and author of a new book titled: A Field Philosophers Guide to Fracking – How One Texas Town Stood up to Big Oil and Gas.  He talks about the grass roots effort that he was part of, the David and Goliath nature of the battle and how he applied a philosopher’s toolkit to breakdown and addresses such a hot button issue. Then in the second half of the show, Chris Cherniak and Nell Larson speak with John Marzluff, author of the new book, Welcome to Subirdia: Sharing Our Neighborhoods with Wrens, Robins, Woodpeckers and Oher Wildlife.
