Cool Science Radio - April 23, 2015

In Today's edition of Cool Science Radio,  Lynn Ware Peek and guest host Chris Cherniak speak first with Sarah Scoles about her article, "Is this ET?  Mystery of Strange Radio Bursts from Space."   It's all about FRB's as they say in the industry, fast radio bursts.

Then we speak with  Xavier Siemens, Chair of the  NANOGrav Physics Frontiers Center and he’s also  the Associate Professor  at the Center for Gravitation, Cosmology, and Astrophysics Department of Physics, University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee.  He’ll talk about a new grant from the NSF to study gravitational waves and their relationship to black holes.
