Candidates Reveal Their Financial Spending

Two of the most-watched local political contests this year are the races for Summit County Sheriff and County Attorney.

New campaign finance reports this week show incumbent County Attorney David Brickey outspending his challenger, former Third District Court Judge Robert Hilder.

Meanwhile, Sheriff candidate Justin Martinez is swamping his opponent Kris Henricksen in terms of money spent and raised. Rick Brough has more.

Known for getting all the facts right, as well as his distinctive sign-off, Rick covered Summit County meetings and issues for 35 years on KPCW. He now heads the Friday Film Review team.
