In Tuesday’s election, Park City voters returned incumbent Andy Beerman to the city council for another four year term. He will be joined by newcomers NannWorel and Becca Gerber.
Park City school district’s $56 million bond to build a new 5/6 school, expand the high school and demolish TMJHS along with some improvements to athletic, music and dance facilities bond suffered a decisive defeat. With more than thousand vote difference, those voting against the bond was 3,001 compared to 1,944 voting.
In Wasatch County, voters approved the district’s $62 million bond to build two new schools and an aquatic facility. The final vote was 3,829 in favor of the bond and 3,163 against.
