Judge Rules For Examination of PCMR Emails

The Talisker Land company won a round in Third District Court Friday, in its ongoing legal battle with the Park City Mountain Resort. Judge Ryan Harris ruled that there can be an examination of internal e-mails generated by PCMR officials and attorneys, to determine how a document was backdated. The Mountain Resort had cited that letter to back up its case that the lease of the ski mountain was still valid. Judge Harris said he was making an exception to the attorney-client confidentiality, but said the disclosure of some 22 e-mails is subject to his review. Rick Brough has more.

An attorney for Park City Mountain Resort says that although it has received a Notice to Vacate from Talisker - the landlord for 3,700 acres of the Resort's ski mountain - they're taking Talisker's word that they will be allowed to operate for the ski season of 2013-14.  KPCW's Rick Brough has more.

Lost Boy Earns Gold

The tragedy of a lost boy in a Korean market had a happy ending at the 2006 olympics in Torino.

The U.S. ski team had long been a powerhouse in freestyle moguls with medals in every Olympics since its 1992 debut. Heading into Torino in 2006, all eyes were on Jeremy Bloom. Instead, it was a Korean born athlete from Yale who stepped into the spotlight.
