Water Conservancy Districts Wants To Ensure Water Safety From Pipeline

Some major water suppliers on the Wasatch, including the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, are concerned the proposed Tesoro oil pipeline could pose catastrophic risks, since the line will be routed along river corridors like the Weber River.

Scott Paxman, assistant general manager of the Weber District, is convinced the pipeline will happen; they just have to make sure the line is as safe as possible. Rick Brough has more.

Newspapers Losing The 'Paper' Part

If there's one word to sum up the future of the Salt Lake Tribune and the newspaper industry, it would be "unknown", according to Terry Orme, editor and publisher of the paper.

But speaking at Tuesday's Park City Rotary Club luncheon, Orme said it's likely that the future Tribune will be primarily an online news source. Rick Brough has more.

Today, Tim Henney and Lynn Ware Peek first rebroadcast an interview with Dr Terry Wahls, author of the Wahls Protocol.  It's called a 'radical new way to treat all chronic autoimmune conditions.'  Wahls treated her own MS and got out of a wheelchair. Then Adele Levine, author of , "Run don't Walk: The Curious and Chaotic Life of a Physical Therapist Inside Walter Reed Army Medical Center."  It's about the life inside the highest volume amputee center in the nation, and how Levine grew curiously attached to the good that is done there.
