A SUMMER OF TED:

TED Radio Hour on KPCW Comes to Park City Every Sunday this Summer!

KPCW is proud to announce the premier of the “TED Radio Hour” on KPCW every Sunday this summer at 9:00 AM. TED hosts the world’s most fascinating thinkers — convention breaking mavericks, icons and geniuses — who give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less about the best ideas in Technology, Entertainment, Design and much more.

The “TED Radio Hour” will begin a ten-week summer run this Sunday, June 24 at 9:00 in the morning. “We will reduce Bob Edwards from two to one hour to make room for TED Radio; We we know TED has a large following of listeners in the Park City area,” KPCW General Manager Larry Warren said.

“TED offers a fresh step back from the day to day pace of news. By pulling back from immediate events to explore the ideas underlying them, a whole new connected picture opens.”

The TED Radio Hour is produced in cooperation with NPR. Depending on listener response over the summer, KPCW may find a permanent home in its weekend schedule for the program.
