Karen Korfanta was a Junior National Champion ski racer in the 1960s and went on to compete for the University of Utah race team. She was later named to the US Ski Team and a member of the 1968 US Olympic Ski Team.

George Wanning was born around 1859 in Denmark, arriving in Park City in the late 1870s. Wanning helped build the town, but what might have been his most significant mark on local history was his saloon.
The Slamdance Film Festival has announced the feature film line-up for its 20th year. The program, set for January 17th - 23rd in Park City at the Treasure Mountain Inn; it's made up of 10 narrative and 8 documentary films. Rick Brough has more.
