County Council Member Chris Robinson Explains County’s Agreement for a Movie Studio
The Quinn’s Junction Partnership parcel has been the focus of a dispute for nearly 20 years. After all that time, Summit County council member Chris Robinson says they decided to settle when they found themselves facing a potential double whammy. Robins says not only could the county lose the lawsuit, but it looked like state legislation might settle the dispute, by allowing a movie studio complex on the Quinn’s parcel, over-riding any input from the county and Park City.
Chris Robinson Announces Candidacy for House District 54
Summit County council member Chris Robinson has announced he’s bidding for higher office and has declared his candidacy for the newly-drawn House District 54, which includes Park City and Wasatch County and is currently represented by Republican Kraig Powell. Freeskier Sarah Burke Dies
The 29 year old half pipe skier Sarah Burke of Canada died this morning. According to a statement issued by University of Utah Hospital Burke died as a result an accident a week ago Tuesday when she tore an artery that provides blood to the brain while training at Park City Mountain Resort. The statement says that Burke’s injuries caused massive neurological damage after her brain was deprived of oxygen due to cardiac arrest following the accident. According to her wishes, Burke’s organs and tissues will be donated.
Park City Live Opens for Sundance

Raleigh Studios Come to Park City
