It’s not his recommendation, but Summit County Manager Bob Jasper on Wednesday will present a 2013 budget option plan to the County Council that does not include a tax increase for the Municipal Fund. The result, he said, will be cuts in staff, including a total of five less positions for the Sheriff, two people from road service, and additional staff cuts in planning. Rick Brough has more.
