Park City Community In Action At Tanger Outlets To Benefit Kids

Over 150 volunteers came out to Tanger outlets this morning to shop with almost 300 local kids who were in need of school supplies. After going through the shops and spending about $150 (donated) in clothing, the kids returned to pick up a backpack full of school supplies and to select some winter clothing. The event is called ‘Back To School Basics’, and is organized by the Christian Center of Park City.

Park City resident Trish Alderman started the event 3 years ago, because of a news story she saw.

Pamella Bello, of Leadership Park City, was also at the event to help the Latino community know about local nonprofit organizations.
