Ted Ligety Ready to Defend his World Cup GS Championship

By Leslie Thatcher on November 1, 2011

Defending World Cup Giant Slalom champion Ted Ligety says he’s ready to race and looks forward to another successful season as he competes for the overall globe.  Ligety was in Park City on Saturday (with his cute girlfriend Mia) for the Youth Winter Sports Alliance fundraiser -  Jan’s Winter Welcome. He spoke with KPCW’s Leslie Thatcher about his first win of the season, the proposed new FIS changes (which he disagrees with) and his new, fast car.
