The Discovery residential project, approved last month by County Council, is being challenged by two lawsuits in Third District Court. The affordable-housing development under the county’s CORE program, granted 105 units along the Kilby Frontage Road, is facing a lawsuit from the Weilenmann School of Discovery, which is located next to the project site. A second suit was filed by a group of neighbors calling itself “Citizens for the Alignment of Growth and the Environment’ (or CAGE.) Both suits were filed late last week. Rick Brough has more.
