Today, co-hosts Larry Warren and Linda Gorton talk with Kit Deslauriers, a champion American skier and the first person to ski down the Seven Summits. She has also been a rock climber, trail runner, model and is currently a stone mason in Teton Village, Wyoming. Next, a conversation with John Weisheit, Conservation Director for Living Waters, who recently appealed a mining permit granted U.S. Oil Sands Inc. to mine oil sands. Also on the program, Jennifer Spinti, Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Utah. She researches oil sands and oil shale for Utah’s Heavy Oil Program at the University of Utah.
