The Duschene County Sheriff’s office is mounting a search for a missing hiker from Australia. 63 year old Eric Robinson was hiking the 100 mile High Line trail through the Uinta Mountains. He left on his trip July 28th from Duschene and was expected to arrive Sunday at the High Line trail head near Mirror Lake.
Friends of Robinson say he’s an experienced outdoors man so it was surprising when he didn’t show up.
Search and Rescue teams on horseback will be searching the trail as well as a helicopter. Volunteers who have time to search are asked to contact the Duschene County Sheriff’s office at 435-738-2015.
