Canyons Civil Trial Underway – Part Two

By Linda Gorton on March 21, 2011

On Thursday, a jury in Salt Lake’s Third District Court settled in for a civil trial, focused on the Canyons Resort, that is expected to last five or six weeks.

We’re also reporting today on the opening arguments presented by American Skiing, parent company of the Canyons Resort.

On the other side, the attorney for Wolf Mountain, principal landowner under  the Canyons, said they haven’t interfered with development of the resort, and its golf course, but are just standing up for their contractual rights.

Rick Brough has more.
